Ashurst Circular Walk

Ashurst Circular Walk

Distance: 14.5 Miles

Time 7 hours (including Lunch and Coffee breaks)


Starting point is the Ashurst Railway station which has FREE Parking, overcast skies a Northerly wind and the threat of rain - Good day for a hike

Anyway a good route, quite muddy underfoot in places (Well it is nearly the end of October)

Saw 500 Acre Wood, Pooh Car Park, Pooh Bridge, Piglet Tea Rooms, a whole host of Pheasants and a Sparrow Hawk - despite the wind the Sun did come out and it was a glorious day. Its not a hard walk but thoroughly enjoyable
